I am passionate about coffee and flavour, but for me the first thing is always sharing it with people.

Hi, I am Tomi, Roaster and Barista. I ended up as a barista by accident. We had a coffee training at my summer job at an ice cream bar. There I realized that there is a whole other world behind coffee. I also understood that I can increase the good flavours in the cup by preparing coffee differently. That’s why I wanted to know everything about coffee.
I am passionate about coffee and flavour, but for me, the first thing is always sharing it with people. I love the moment when I drink coffee with my family or when I serve a cup of coffee to my customer. Coffee can taste amazing as it is. However, when we – the barista and the customer – find a mutual understanding or interest towards the specific flavour or the story of the coffee, the whole experience gets to a higher dimension.
Fun fact: I decided to quit university because of coffee.
Coffee superpower: I can turn my customer’s shitty day into a great one buy telling bad jokes.
Dream coffee destination: I would like to visit the homeland of coffee, Ethiopia. I like the fact that they themselves drink half of the coffee they produce.
