I’ve been in the coffee business for about three years, and I can still see a lot of opportunities to grow as a professional.

I fell in love with coffee as a university student when I got a job as a barista at a newly-opened coffee shop. The most inspiring thing is that coffee is so expressive, having so many flavours, aromas, colours and bodies, and you can create perfect coffee by using all those small components. I’ve been in the coffee business for about three years, and I can still see a lot of opportunities to grow as a professional.

I can now proudly say that I’m certified by SCAE (I’ve passed Foundation, Intermediate and Professional Barista Skills), I was one of the finalists in the 2016 Lithuanian Barista Championship and my next step is to become one of the best baristas in Lithuania.
I also have a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and I’m studying towards a master’s degree in European Studies.

Fun fact: People call me ‘Tratata’ because I can talk for hours. :)

Coffee superpower: The power of connecting coffee lovers.

Favourite coffee destination: One day I would love to visit Brazil.
